We don’t do any remastering. In most cases, the audio recorded on the tapes usually holds up pretty well over time if they were stored properly. Poor quality issues are usually related to poor microphone placement at the time of recording and/or poor recording levels. In those cases, there isn’t usually a whole lot that can be done, but we will do our best to provide you with the best quality transfer (preserving the original quality of the tape) so that the digital files can be taken to an audio mastering specialist. You can find noise reduction and mastering specialists online.
